PROAIR® diesel particulate filters (DPF)

NOxBUSTER® systems often include a diesel particulate filter. The same DPF systems are available also as stand-alone PROAIR® filters. Proventia PROAIR® filters are reliable, user-friendly retrofit solutions that can be applied to a wide variety of commercial vehicles like buses and trucks, but also work machines like material handling and construction machinery.

The PPROAIR®MR (Muffler Replacement) systems are install-ready systems to the most common vehicle makes and models. PROAIR® Flex systems that have a unique modular design with multiple installation options. Proventia´s PROAIR®DPF systems are passively regenerating filters for retrofit installations. Retrofitting your machine or vehicle with a PROAIR® diesel particulate filter is a cost-effective way of making your vehicle compliant with emission regulations that demand low PM emissions. PROAIR® filters are approved in several European low emission zones, e.g. Germany, the UK and Denmark.

How does it work?

The PROAIR® Filter´s precious-metal-coated wall-flow filter collects particulate matter and also reduces HC and CO emissions. World-leading coating technology guarantees a one-of-a-kind purification performance with over 90% PM reduction and long-term chemical durability. Once the exhaust gas has reached an adequate level for regeneration, the collected PM is oxidised. PROAIR® diesel particulate systems regenerate continuously during regular vehicle operation, which means long maintenance intervals and minimum downtimes for machines.   PROAIR® Filters are always accompanied with a PROCARE™ Datalogger that continuously checks the back pressure for proper regeneration performance and informs the driver when the remaining ash needs to be cleaned out or when maintenance is needed.
