TRU Performance with Proventia's filters
Transport refrigeration units (TRUs) are temperature control systems powered by small diesel engines designed to refrigerate or heat perishable products that are transported in trailers or bobtails. TRU engines are running at terminals, distribution centers, warehouses and truck stops, causing a potential health risk to those that live and work nearby.

In California, the TRU emission regulations apply to owners and operators of diesel-fueled TRUs and TRU generator sets that operate in the State of California. Proventia's FTF filters have been installed and are in use in hundreds of Thermo King brand TRUs in the US, where Proventia FTF is the lowest cost method for making 2002 and older TRUs compliant with CARB low emission regulations.
