Proventia Brightening Up the Future

Retrofit project Copenhagen, Denmark

The Low-Emission Zone in Copenhagen started in September 2008. The PM reduction requirement in Copenhagen is set at -80%.

Since the beginning of 2008 Proventia has delivered passive diesel particulate filters to the Low-Emission Zone in Copenhagen, Denmark. In Copenhagen, Proventia's filters are in use in both off-road machines like wheel loaders and terminal trucks and on-road vehicles like trucks and buses with excellent results and a high degree of satisfaction.

Proventia's solutions for the Copenhagen Low-Emission Zone are:

  • Passive filters utilizing exhaust gas heat for continuous regeneration

  • No additives or additional devices needed

  • Continuously monitored filter status

  • Filters approved by Danish Road Safety and Transport Agency
