The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has conditionally verified Proventia’s EHDPF system as a Level 3 plus active regenerated diesel emission control system for use with the Thermo King Tripac APU, powered by select model year 2007 to 2009 Yanmar TK270M diesel engines with a diesel particulate matter certification of 0.2 grams per kilowatt hour or less. Proventia’s EHDPF system uses a sintered metal filter which is electrically heated for regeneration to achieve an 85 percent reduction in emissions of diesel particulate matter. PRoventia's EHDPF system is compliant with ARB’s 2009 nitrogen dioxide standard.
