Lauri Antila, the president and CEO of Proventia Group will relocate to the company’s Winterhur, Switzerland, office as of August 15^th, 2009. The move is an important step in company’s strategic plan to establish a strong position on the rapidly growing emission control market of Central Europe.

The relocation signifies a strong involvement in the Central European retrofit market as ever more European cities and communities are introducing environmental zones to reduce the harmful particulate and nitrogen oxide emissions. Antila’s office now being in Winterthur as opposed to Oulunsalo is also an important step in developing company’s mobile and stationary engine emission control businesses centered in Oulunsalo and Winterthur respectively.

Besides Lauri Antila, who is responsible for sales and marketing operations of the company, Proventia’s management group includes CFO Marko Karppinen, responsible for finance and administration and COO Jari Lotvonen, responsible for product development and production.  Oulunsalo technology centre is led by Jari Lotvonen. The company is headquartered in Oulunsalo as before.
