Ilmeg Products Ab, Dynapac Ab and Finkatalyt have developed in  co-operation a new system to improve asphalt paving working environments. During the laying process of hot asphalt mix, the operators are exposed to both asphalt as well exhaust fumes. This new system was developed in order to improve the working environment and enable to work in sensitive areas like tunnels or in residential areas.

This innovation is an integrated solution for purification of both diesel engine exhaust gases and asphalt fumes at the same time. The system can be used on basically all machines handling hot asphalt mix. Tests have verified that this system contributes to both better working conditions and a cleaner environment. For Finnkatalyt this innovation means a step to a new field where Finnkatalyt's know - how is integrated to solutions that purifies more than just exhaust gases from the engines.
