Marko Karppinen, M.Sc. (Economics), 35, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Proventia Group Oy as of April 3rd. As CFO, Karppinen will be responsible for the Group's finances and administration as well as acting as the CEO's substitute, if necessary. 

Karppinen has almost 14 years of experience in managerial roles in finance and administration, mostly in public companies. Prior to his move to Proventia, Karppinen acted as the CFO of PKC Group Oyj. His previous roles include that of Chief Financial Officer of Ponsse Oyj, for example.

"Proventia's transformation from an environmental investment and holding company to a global environmental technology supplier will be finalized by the end of this year. Marko will naturally play a key role in planning and implementing the transition", explains Lauri Antila, CEO of Proventia Group Oy.
