Proventia's Flow Through Filter for TRUs and bobtail TRUs
Proventia's TRU filter is technically a Flow Through Filter or partial diesel particulate filter. It is the most cost-effective and reliable way of making transport refrigeration units, TRUs, environmentally and health friendly. The FTF system is originally developed for making the US 2002 and older transport refrigeration units compliant with the CARB low-emission regulations. Hundreds of purifiers have already been installed with excellent user experiences and a high degree of satisfaction.

The Proventia TRU filter collects exhaust soot in a metal filter media holding it until it can be regenerated. The filter cleans itself under normal TRU operation without driver intervention. The system includes a controller that measures the exhaust back pressure and automatically shifts the TRU into high-speed operation to clean out the soot as required. |
