Operation principle
PROAIR® Flex's precious metal coated wall-flow filter collects particulate matter. Once the exhaust gas reached an adequate level for regeneration, the collected PM is oxidized. PROAIR® Flex is available as 1- or 2-module systems. A 2-module system also includes a DOC (diesel oxidation catalyst), precatalyst that ensures filter cleaning in low exhaust gas temperatures.
