Operation principle
The intelligent CHILI™ offers a unique reliability based on several sintered metal filter elements and self-maintenance: when a filter needs regeneration, exhaust gases pass through other filters. The filter itself serves as a resistive heater that draws the power needed for regeneration from the machine's electrical system. The filter is regenerated during the driving. CHILI™ adapts the regeneration to the operation routines, not only time-based but continuously measuring the back pressure and only initiating the regeneration when necessary. At the same time, CHILI™ gains high PM reduction rates cost-efficiently.
