Proventia's passive filters are an excellent emission control solution for heavy-duty vehicles with higher exhaust gas temperatures because they continuously regenerate during regular vehicle operation. Passive filters keep your machines and vehicles on duty with minimum maintenance checks or breaks. Proventia's passively regenerated diesel particulate filters  (DPF) are suitable for buses, trucks and various heavy-duty machines for both first fit and retrofit installations. Engines equipped with Proventia's filters fulfill the most stringent regulations with over 90% PM reduction.

Operation principle

Proventia's passive filter technology combines 2 catalytic elements. The first element oxidizes soluble organic fraction (SOF) emissions. The second element collects particulate matter (PM). Once the exhaust gas reaches an adequate temperature level, the collected PM is oxidized and removed in a regeneration process.
