Proventia Group Oy has sold its stationary & marine business Proventia GmbH, located in Switzerland, to Mr Beat Wälti, the CEO of Proventia GmbH on 20 March 2012. The agreement includes 100% of the shares of Proventia GmbH.
Proventia Group concentrates on emission control in off-road and on-road applications both in the OEM and retrofitting markets. Jari Lotvonen, CEO of Proventia Group, states that the sale will allow Proventia to focus on its core business in the mobile OE and retrofit markets.
Proventia GmbH will continue in the field of stationary and marine emission control, where the company has operated since 1996. Proventia GmbH will be led by Mr Beat Wälti, and will also operate under the name Proventia GmbH for the next few months. According to Mr Wälti, a name change will however take place at the beginning of October 2012, when the new name Pure Clean Air AG/ PCA will become official. Meanwhile the company will continue to operate under the name Proventia GmbH in Winterthur and a new customer training centre will be established in Winterthur at Kronaustrasse 10. From now on, the main e-mail address will be info (at) pure-clean-air.com and the personal addresses for the staff will be firstname.lastname (at) pure-clean-air.com.
