Proventia received the Export Company of the Year award from the City of Oulu for its long-term, successful operations in the international markets. The Prize was awarded at Oulu City Hall on the 16th of April 2019.
Proventia's revenue growth has been strong in recent years. In 2016, the company's net sales were 12,1 million Euros. In 2017, net sales totalled 19,6 million Euros and in 2018, net sales increased by 95 % from the previous year to 38,3 million Euros. Exports have been a significant part of Proventia's operations since the early days. The company has customers in more than 20 countries. In 2018, exports accounted for 85 percent of Proventia's net sales. The number of employees grew from 65 to 118 employees last year.
