Ultra Low Emission Zone in London

The London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will come into force in September 2020. The ULEZ standards are in addition to the Congestion Charge and the Low Emission Zone requirements. The ULEZ area will be the same as the current Congestion Charge Zone (CCZ) and it will operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

The ULEZ standards are based on Euro standards: buses and coaches and heavy goods vehicles (HGV) must meet the Euro 6 emission standard. Retrofitting is allowed and technologies are available: Proventia NOxBUSTER® City DPF+ SCR can make EURO 4 and 5 vehicles compliant with ULEZ standards.

TfL approved Proventia NOxBUSTER® City

Transport for London (TfL) has named Proventia Emission Control in a framework agreement as a supplier to the NOx Abatement Framework Agreement, ahead of the introduction of the world's first Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in London. The agreement means that Proventia is approved to supply, install and maintain Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) retrofit systems for upgrading Euro 4 and 5 buses up to Euro 6 emission standard for the ULEZ.
