Advantages with
LTO technology

High Discharge Rates, Longevity, and Versatility for Extreme Conditions

LTO batteries feature high discharge rates (C-rates up to 10-40), which means that they offer rapid battery charging and discharging. Despite being able to support high-power demands with a lower capacity than other technologies, LTO batteries have a 10 to 20 times longer battery lifetime than other lithium battery types.

They operate effectively across a wide temperature range, from -30..+60°C. All this while offering enhanced safety and stability under extreme conditions. This versatility makes them ideal for off-road machinery applications. In addition, we pack them in the most robust case, which provides resilience against mechanical loads, dust and moisture.

HIGH-voltage LTO battery systems (<1000V)

Modular high-voltage batteries can be customized in capacity and voltage, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. Our high-voltage batteries are engineered for durability and perform excellently in extreme temperatures.

Applications for HIGH-voltage batteries

Hybrid Systems

High-voltage batteries are perfect for peak power management in high-voltage hybrid systems. Batteries enable the use of smaller engines and thereby decrease fuel consumption over the machine’s lifetime, leading to lower COemissions and reduced Scope 3 downstream emissions. Less COemissions also mean lower overall ownership costs.

Fuel Cell applications

In fuel cell applications, Proventia batteries provide rapid load response, enhancing the efficiency and lifespan of the fuel cell. The batteries also enable energy recuperation.

Full electric applications

For full electric applications where machine uptime and constant operation are important, batteries must be able to withstand repetitive fast charging. Our batteries can be fully charged over a short break instead of requiring slow overnight charging, while still maintaining the excellent long lifetime of the technology.

Example of high-voltage systems

Proventia high-voltage battery with separate Battery Management Unit (BMU) and three battery packages of different sizes (with 3, 6 and 7 modules), which can be freely connected in series up to 1000V.

Physical characteristics

LOW-voltage LTO battery systems

Our low-voltage batteries seamlessly integrate into machines with their compact, lightweight, yet robust structure. They improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions, making the low-voltage batteries an easy choice for off-road machinery applications.

Applications for low-voltage batteries

Mild hybrids

The 48V electrical system is the industry standard for mild hybrid cars. For the creation of mild hybrid off-road machines, we provide you with a similar tailored low-voltage system. Such a system is, for example, the Proventia ePRO48.

Start-Stop Systems

The Start-Stop system reduces engine idling, thereby decreasing fuel consumption and emissions. A low-voltage battery maintains the operation of the machine’s electrical systems during stops.
