Our test solutions and battery products facilitate the transition to zero carbon vehicles and machines, while our emission control systems enhance the fuel economy of combustion engines and reduce CO₂ emissions throughout their lifetime.

Proventia is preparing for CSRD reporting and has conducted a double materiality analysis. The analysis aimed to identify and assess the most significant negative and positive impacts, risks, and opportunities related to sustainability issues (Environmental, Social, Governance), which are essential for understanding the company’s sustainability profile and long-term value creation.
Proventia has determined the following sustainability matters to be material for future reporting purposes:

Taxonomy alignment
Our Business’s Taxonomy alignment
The EU Taxonomy is a system created by the European Union to classify which economic activities are environmentally sustainable. Proventia has conducted a taxonomy review of its businesses, concluding that Proventia’s batteries and battery-related test solutions are taxonomy-aligned activities.

In 2023, we signed the UN’s Global Compact initiative and are committed to adopting, supporting and applying its ten basic values related to human rights, working life principles, the environment and anti-corruption within our sphere of interest.

Proventia reviews its sustainability in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Of the 17 SDGs, Proventia has selected three key goals for which the company offers solutions through its innovative products and services or which are important for the company in terms of its personnel, procurement chain and operations.
GOAL 13: Climate action
Proventia develops products and solutions that help reduce the local CO₂ emissions of transport and off-road machines and improve the energy efficiency of off-road machines and vehicles.
GOAL 8: Decent work and economic growth
Proventia does its part in taking care of its employees’ mental and physical well-being. The company seeks to grow and develop with its customers, partners and subcontractors. Its operations are founded on responsible and profitable growth.
