Flexible Electrification for Diverse Off-highway Applications

There is no single solution for electrifying off-road (NRMM) machinery. Duty cycles, power needs, and operating environments vary significantly across applications. Proventia’s modular systems adapt to these differences, from high-power LTO solutions to high-energy LFP systems and complete powerpack or electric powertrain configurations.
Our solutions support a wide range of NRMM applications and other industries operating in harsh or highly dynamic environments.
Batteries and Electric solutions from a trusted partner

Battery modules
Our in-house developed battery modules form the foundation of our battery systems. Their modularity enables tailored configurations when standard solutions do not meet operational demands.

Simulation and Engineering Support
Advanced simulations accelerate development, reduce costs, and ensure that battery systems meet precise performance, interface, and thermal requirements. This approach shortens time-to-market and strengthens safety and reliability.

Advanced Testing and Validation
Proventia’s Test Center provides full-size battery pack testing in a climate-controlled laboratory, where performance, ageing, and durability can be verified before field deployment.

Collaborative, proactive approach
We work closely with customers from concept to commissioning. Our agile, proactive way of working allows us to adapt to evolving requirements and consistently supports the success of each project.

Frequently
asked
questions
Proventia solutions are developed for demanding mobile machinery and industrial applications, including construction equipment, material handling machines, mining equipment and agricultural machinery. In addition, they are suitable for other industries operating in harsh or highly dynamic environments. Each solution is engineered according to the application’s power, energy, environmental, and operational requirements.
Key differences include robust mechanical design, high transient power capability, application-specific thermal management, advanced BMS and CAN integration support. The systems are developed for long-term reliability, lifecycle management, and traceability, which are often more critical for OEMs than the lowest upfront cost per kWh.
Battery sizing is based on real operating conditions and application requirements. Key inputs include power demand, energy consumption, voltage limits, runtime targets, and duty cycle. These factors are used to define and validate the battery configuration, ensuring the system meets performance, thermal, and lifetime requirements.
Proventia delivers complete battery systems and battery management solutions. We also support system-level integration, including electrical and mechanical interfaces, in collaboration with power electronics and control-system partners. The scope of delivery is defined individually for each case at the start of each project.
Proventia battery systems integrate with both standard and custom machine architectures. The modular design supports a wide voltage range, and also custom DC bus topologies. Voltage level, module configuration, and system layout are engineered in collaboration with the customer to ensure seamless electrical and mechanical integration.
